Press Release - Annex Hotel Makeover by StudioAC

Repurposing something old and delivering it in a completely new light is quite an experience (and spectacle), if/when done right. So, when architecture company StudioAC was tasked with converting a 100 plus year old Annex building (formerly a multi-story horse stable and home to Toronto’s first hidden bar) into a contemporary boutique hotel, it was a great challenge. The studio capitalized on their design capabilities, going back to the basics and envisioning bedrooms that could use space, light and aesthetics to create inviting, modern suites. With functional custom furniture and clean lighting, the transformation of this space is worth reading about.
