Created by the dynamic team of Rossi and Bianchi, the IPNOS outdoor floor lamp mixes illusion with function-and the result is nothing short of magical. LED lights line the top of its extruded aluminum frame, which is anodized in various finishes. Transparent PC (polycarbonate) diffusers protect the light source. There is a driver on the plug; the on/off switch is on the cord. Inspiration behind the design: Filling a seemingly blank space with light, Nicoletta Rossi and Guido Bianchi illustrate that even the objects we consider purely functional have the potential to amaze us.
